SUMMARY:The President's evening
DESCRIPTION:President Gary Langley has persuaded an excellent speaker to come to the Club for our opening meeting of the season. Malcolm Cook EFIAP will tell us how to get the best out of our files before sending them off to exhibitions. You can see some of his work on his website  http://endlessskies.co.uk/ He will also bring along some prints for you to  study during the break. All the images have been accepted in FIAP international competitions from 2014 to 2022. Do come along for our opening evening and renew old friendships.

SUMMARY:MORE CAMERA LESS PHOTOSHOP by Carl Wright LRPS
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to spend less time on your computer? Here is a chance to find out how. Carl will show us how to be more creative with our camera rather than spending time processing with software. Based in Solihull\, he is an active member of South Birmingham Photographic Society and believes that photography is “art for everyone”. An intriguing and interesting evening is in store. Have a look at his website. https://www.teach-me-photography.co.uk

SUMMARY:WILDLIFE IN SHERWOOD FOREST by Barbara Meyer
DESCRIPTION:Barbara gave us a very well received talk last year concerning her first love\, Big Cats\, but she has conducted surveys in the wider Sherwood Forest area and raised awareness generally for wildlife in Britain. Her talk covers the species she has been able to record in England’s most famous forest\, their distribution and some seasonal events. As an added extra for us she will also talk about why and how she uses trail cameras as well as explaining how she approaches taking wildlife when she is out with her SLR. http://www.bigcatphotography.co.uk/
