Beeston Camera Club is pleased to announce that we had 68 acceptances – 30 prints and 38 projected digital images – in the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation’s Annual Exhibition. It was especially pleasing to win the newly created Gibbins Trophy awarded to the Best PDI panel of four mono images as David Gibbins, after whom the award is named, is a member of Beeston Camera Club.
Two other Beeston members won awards: David Hunt – The Cheetham Trophy for his Mono Print The Quiet Gallery whilst Trevor Lane won Best Nature PDI for his Hoopoe With Food.
